Plan Commission Approves bKL-Designed 1300 W. Lake

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development planned at 1300 W. Lake. Proposed by Loukas Development and bKL Architecture, the tower will rise 537 feet and deliver 593 apartments with 10,000 square feet of retail space on its ground floor.

Yimby Chicago Unveils Updated Design for 1300 W Lake

bKL Architecture and Loukas Development have released an updated design for the proposed tower at 1300 W Lake Street. The mixed-use structure in the western portion of Fulton Market will now stand 537 feet and have a vertical exterior pattern.

Chicago Tribune Announces Name and Completion Date for 160 N. Morgan

Chicago Tribune announces Sterling Bay’s plans to begin leasing the bKL-designed 160 N. Morgan tower in the fall of 2023. The 282-unit building will officially be known as the Dylan, introducing a vibrant hub to the Fulton Market neighborhood.

bKL-Designed Americana Hotel Site to Go Before Arlington Board

Urban Turf DC reports that the bKL-designed Americana Hotel Site is set to go before the Arlington County Board for a key plan approval on Saturday, April 22. The 19-story redevelopment would provide 636 residential units and major retail opportunities at the site of a former Arlington hotel.
