Associate Director

Eunkyu is an expert leader and an especially adept communicator. Her wide range of experience equips her with a multi-disciplinary approach to project management, and she tackles complex projects and design challenges through collaboration and an astute attention to detail. Eunkyu’s project type experience includes high-rise mixed-use residential, high-rise mixed-use repositioning and core and shell development, institutional, K-12 educational, hospitality, and retail projects. She also has six years of experience as an interior designer, with an emphasis on both brand launchings and renovations.

Eunkyu’s commitment to the world of architecture includes not only her clients, but also the next generation of designers and makers. She views her role as contributing her experience and talent for the benefit of others, whether that is delivering projects to a successful completion or showing middle school students how design thinking can change the world.

Eunkyu has over two decades of experience in architecture and design. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Housing and Interior Design from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, and her Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a licensed architect in Illinois, as well as LEED AP BD+C certified. Eunkyu is a member of AIA, a Former Co-Chair for the Community Interface Committee at AIA Chicago Knowledge Community, and an Architects in Schools mentor.
